The application allows you to set differentiated VAT values for different countries with the consequent recalculation of product prices by reassigning the dedicated VAT for B2C customers.
The application also allows you to check during the order checkout if the customer is a valid VAT number of the European Union. This is thanks to a query to the VIES verification system of the European Union.
As an alternative, it is strongly recommended to register at https://vatlayer.com/ and set the identification code in the app to access the verification service.
Once the customer's position has been established and verified, the VAT will be separated from the products in the order if the customer is from the European Union.
